Every day, students also “walk the talk” of being Christianwhether it’s sending a handmade card to “adopted” senior friends, collecting items for the needy, or older students making a craft or reading a story with their year-long “buddies” in the younger grades. St. Raphael incorporates both Peace Works education and peer mediation to resolve issues in a respectful and Christ-like manner. And don’t be surprised to find Fr. Scott Thibodeau, St. Raphael Parish’s pastor and school chaplain, mingling with students and joining in their activities on any given day. The school mission statement sums it all up nicely: We are growing in friendship, knowledge and God’s spirit.
