St. Raphael Chess Club

• Open to St. Raphael Students in Grades 1^st through 8^th

• Beginners are welcome

• Meets on Tuesdays after school from 3 p.m. until 4 p.m. on school grounds

• Cost is $10.00 per FAMILY per session

• A session usually consists of 5 or 6  meetings

• We usually hold 2 different sessions throughout the school year (one in the Fall and one in the Winter)  A student may join one or both sessions throughout the school year; whatever their schedule and interests allow.

• Before each session begins, we will post sign-up information in the St. Raphael Rebel Report (school newsletter)

• The chess club is usually divided  into two groups:
  
   

1. Green group: (subject to change)
• Boys in Grades 4^th, 5^th, 6^th, 7^th, & 8^th
• Girls in Grades  4^th, 5^th, 6^th, 7^th, & 8^th
   
2. Gold group: (subject to change)
• Boys in Grades 1st, 2nd,  & 3rd
• Girls in Grades  1st, 2nd,  & 3rd
