| Overview: St. Raphael is a parish school of the Archdiocese of Detroit and provides a Catholic Christian education for students in grades preschool to eight. Founded in 1936 by St. Raphael Parish, we serve parish and non-parish families throughout western Wayne County. Children of all faiths are welcome. Mission Statement: We are growing in friendship, knowledge and God’s spirit. Accreditation: Accredited since 1994 by the Michigan Non-Public Schools Accrediting Association Admissions: Current students, children of St. Raphael parishioners and Catholic children from other parishes receive first consideration for admission. Non-Catholic children whose parents/guardians agree to the child’s participation in the integrated religious education program may be admitted, space permitting. Upon completion of a registration form and other required documentation, a space will be held for the child in the grade level applied for, pending results of a standard educational screening test conducted at the school.
